Village Hall and Police Department Expansion Breaks Ground in Elburn

Village of Elburn, May 6, 2025 – The Village of Elburn is proud to announce the official groundbreaking
of its highly anticipated Village Hall and Police Department expansion. This transformative project will
enhance public services, improve operational efficiency, and provide a modernized facility to better serve
the residents of the Village of Elburn.The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on May 12, 2025, at 301 E. North Street, beginning at 10:00am. Village officials, community leaders, and members of the Police Department will be present to commemorate this milestone. The expansion will include, additional work space and holding cells, office space, upgraded technology, and enhanced safety measures, reflecting the community's commitment to growth and progress.
"This expansion marks a significant step forward for our village, ensuring that our local government and
police department have the resources needed to serve our residents effectively and efficiently," said Jeff
Walter, Village President. "We are excited to provide a facility that reflects our dedication to safety,
efficiency, and community engagement. We are proud to partner with Dewberry Architects and Harbour
Contractors, Inc. to complete this project on time and within budget.”
The project, expected to be completed by April 2026 demonstrates the Village's commitment to
infrastructure improvement and long-term planning. Residents and stakeholders are invited to attend the
groundbreaking ceremony and celebrate this achievement together.
