Event Details
The City of Geneva is hosting a free FOIA Training Session facilitated by Matthew Goodman, of the Attorney General's office. The session will include a general overview of the law, including recent changes, the types of records subject to disclosure under FOIA, the process for submitting and responding to requests and exemptions.
Managers and municipal staff are welcome and question submissions are encouraged. Please submit questions HERE
The training, including Q & A, will last approximately 2 hours. Coffee will be available.
Registration and question submission closes at noon on Thursday, May 7th.
