FOIA Training Well Attended

Last week, Metro West and the City of Geneva hosted a free FOIA Training Session facilitated by Matthew Goodman from the Attorney General's office. More than fifty members attended the training held at the Sunset Community Center in Geneva. 

The session included a general overview of the law, including recent changes, the types of records subject to disclosure under FOIA, the process for submitting and responding to requests and exemptions.
